This the lamest nikka ever I swear. Bro mid 40s and from Indiana (not a diss to Indiana :whoa:) . He don’t got nothing to do with the situation . Fans, media and all of us have our opinions, but it’s different when you in real life trying to call somebody out on some shyt like this. Bro not from Atlanta .. And even if he cool with thug bro just lame.

Didn’t he get slapped or some shyt by somebody. Like what type of nikka be beefing with Spitta of all people. People can have they opinions on Gunna. But all these fake street nikkas so lame. Everybody trying to play tough fall the time . You a rapper bro… and mid 40s. Stop it. Bet he don’t even know nothing about the situation to even make this statement, he just a D rider. I was a big fan of his music back in the day, but he a hoe. Gunna a easy target and that’s why he feel safe speaking his mind.

What’s considered “real classics”? Let me guess - hip hop albums that came out before 2000? :francis:

If you’re ranking hip hop albums that came out in the last decade, Piñata has to be top 10 on that list.

Alfredo 2 is one of the most talked about albums of the year :mjlol: fukk you talkin about?

Nope. Folks can go on for days a do deep dive analysis over any kendrick album. Similar to how they do a pac album

Piñata is just like...."Freddie gibby best work" type ish

Gunna has about 25 songs that will be remembered by the masses over anything gibbs dropped. Let's be real here

fukkUMean and Drip Too Hard are great records - still in rotation from me. I got those on my gym playlists but Gunna don’t got no damn 25 records that will be played in a decade :mjlol:

Gibbs creates bodies of work that fans of hip hop music no matter the age will go back and revisit. Especially since he linking with legendary producers in Madlib and Alchemist

I was at a few TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) events this weekend and in a few conversations, music came up and I was shocked to hear from a few guys I didn’t even think were into hip hop mention Freddie Gibbs and Piñata specifically.

Gunna makes singles music - he don’t have a body of work that is a critically acclaimed and that people care about. Once his generation grows up, his music will be forgotten. We’ll hear a couple of his records here and there but they won’t be solidified in hip hop history

You’ve never listened to any of Freddie’s albums clearly or just skimmed through them. No point debating

Have a nice day

No one listens to Gibbs. Gunna latest album will outsell Gibs catalog

and yes, he does have 25 songs

Alfredo 2 came and went.

It was talked about for 2 weeks (if that) & everyone moved on.

There’s not one song that anyone is still talking about from that album.

There isn’t one song with any notable quotables.

There isn’t one song that he hasn’t already made before.

The production isn’t nuanced at all.

He makes albums with great flow, scatterbrained thoughts about bytches, people hating mixed in with metaphorical references……over and over again.

Gibbs can rap but it’s not anything special.

Piñata was his peak.
