I was at a few TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) events this weekend and in a few conversations, music came up and I was shocked to hear from a few guys I didn’t even think were into hip hop mention Freddie Gibbs and Piñata specifically.

Gunna makes singles music - he don’t have a body of work that is a critically acclaimed and that people care about. Once his generation grows up, his music will be forgotten. We’ll hear a couple of his records here and there but they won’t be solidified in hip hop history

Look im a big fan of gibbs but you acting like he gonna be more relevant than gunna which just not gonna happen. Drip or drown 2 and gift and a curse are borderline classics...maybe not "hip-hop" classics but the masses are going to remember those projects
