Gibbs got way too much dirt on him but doesn't mind being a punchline (don't ask me how). He also makes incredible albums that are far better than Cole's best.
Cole is lyrically in the upper echelon which makes him an easy pick on paper but that Kendrick shyt still has him looking foolish a full year later. A lot of the aura and mystique he had built up since 2017/2018 was absolutely destroyed in a weekend. All the metaphors about killing your contemporaries means nothing when you back down and he has to live with that forever.

Ultimately Cole was in a bad spot.. I mean going 2v1 against Dot with Drake is corny af. He was going to get overshadowed especially with how dirty it got.
