no one said he was better than those three players but he possibly could be in the long run and I have no problem saying at the very least he is a better shooter than Craig, Barton, and Grant.
i liken this to kobe when he was drafted was he better then Byron Scott, Eddie Jones and nick Van exel at first no he wasn’t but he needed that playing time off the bench to develop and adjust to the league.
MPJ could develop into a superstar but he gets no burn he does not grow and you could be squandering a gold mine but keeping him on the bench
You weren't here for the conversation where Squirrel from Meteor Man claimed MPJ would be the best player on the Nuggets the moment he stepped onto the court. That's what we were referring to and making fun of.
I have no problem with saying that MPJ has great potential and could one day be great (though anyone of the slightest age knows that there is almost never a sure thing in the NBA). It's claiming that he was already that good based off of high school games played during the Obama Administration that I was mocking.
I mean come on how, this is the guy who said the Nuggets were treading water with Malone as coach and who thought he was downplaying Jokic by equating him to prime Sabonis.
