I like the record bro. Uncle Murda would do this record for $$$ prolly 5-8K. fukk buying features thats not how you get on. You need to put out visuals for your music breh. Keep puttin out content bro. Engage with your small following and slowly build. Its not an overnight thing.

I'm hip, bro. I'd never pay for a feature to "get on" :mjlol: Got too much artistic and moral integrity to do so. shyt is corny in my eyes, and rarely pans out for unsigned artists. The relationships and talent level are much more valuable than money, despite what most people think.

I'm too plugged in in the streets with most of the street rappers a lot of these nerds stan, on some respect shyt.
nikkas either heard of my work in the streets, in prison, or they got family or friends who vouch for me & fukk with me tough.

I'm doing exactly what you're saying, and actually limiting myself in some regards, to let the buzz build organically, which is why my content is only on soundcloud/TheColi at the moment.

:salute: Appreciate the feedback

I would strongly suggest you take advantage of Youtube. Build a channel for your music and make daily (ideally) content for your fans of your music and of your life. This a great and a faster way to organically grow.

That's how much it costs to get a beat from DJ Quik.

You expect me to believe a French Montana feature is worth as much as a Quik beat?
So this dude paid a million bucks for Quik beats for one album?

He single handedly revived fat Joe and Remys careers with a hook so you tell me if it's worth it. He got them on the summer jam tour with a hook. I'm sure they've recouped the 100gs
French wasn't the one on the hook that was Infrared. Well he was on the hook but he wasnt the one saying All the Way Up. Unless you're saying he wrote it.

You think Death Row didn't have enough to pay a producer a million dollars around the mid-90s?
Never heard of dude, the album was released in 2010 just saw that it was recorded over 16 years.

Quik has really only produced for his unknown friends for the past 16 years and very few random weak artists like Yung Joc, Chingy, and Stalley.

If he's still holding on to that old price tag it might be the reason to why no one is demanding his services. I don't know why anyone would pay that high price in these modern times unless it's a high probability of the song being a hit song. Low fees and high royalties seems like a much better business model. Specially for producers, there's like 5000 dope producers in 2016. I don't even care about production credits anymore, as soon as one new producer comes with something new there's 100 dudes copying that shyt just as good and even better.
