how do La France Insoumise and Generation.s looking right now?

FI has been in some turmoil due to some dubious positionning towards minorities (basically revealing themselves as being in the same "Republicain" mold as the others), so they're not getting much traction in that potential demographic. Also Melenchon's house (or office? Don't remember right now) was searched in some investigation (corruption or campaign spendings) and the way he reacted lost him some support : acting like it was a conspiracy against him, almost acting like he was above the law and whatnot. And they never managed to build on the relative success at the presidential elections, in general they are still seemed as "extreme-left" and also somewhat anti-EU, which despite everything going on is not necessarily a winning cause in France.

Haven't heard much of Generation.s tbh, I think they're still in the "building up" phase. But for whatever reason it seems hard in France to organize a real alternative movement as in other Euro countries (for better and for worse obviously), might have something to do with the hierarchical make-up of France in general and of its politics in particular.
