I just read that Warren G was the one who really produced The Chronic. I don't know how true this is though :hubie:

Love Manny but this is so far from the truth. Top 10 would be about right. Timbaland, Swizz Premier, Organized Noise, Dr. Dre, Trackmasters, Havoc were all better producers back then. Even though some were groups.

Swizz and Trackmasters don't belong in the same sentence. He was better than Organized Noise too.

2000 was mannie's best year.

why leave it out OP?

and yea, mannie is one of the goats.

warren picked out the samples, which is essentially producing that album, cuz its a heavy sample-driven record.

so yea, you can kinda say that.

He had such a great run you had to post lots of tracks, knowing damn well most people haven't heard them nor give a fukk. Yet his 'run' was among 'the best' :duck: And you know all this - which is why you're using the hyperbolic bullshyt title to hopefully con people into listening to someone we mostly don't give a fukk about.

Mannie Fresh aint even better than Shock G, but somehow you're forcing him in that GOAT conversation :mjlol:

I doubt you really think Shock G is better than Mannie Fresh since you probably went to wikipedia to figure out who he was after watching All Eyez On Me

Nah he just got a lot of beats..but not a lot of quality

From 96 to 2000

Chopper City
Uptown 4 Life
All on U Vol. 1 & 2
How U Luv That Vol.1 & 2
Soulja Rags
Get It How U Live
400 Degrees
Guerilla Warfare
Chopper City In The Ghetto
I Got That Work
G-Code
That Block Is Hot

The majority of the beats on these albums are not only quality but classic, great and head of their time. Swizz can't hold a fukking candle to Fresh.
