From a purely logical perspective how does Jesus being God even make sense?

Logically ANY entity being "God" doesn't make sense.

As soon as you assign a location to some deity, whether it's a person, spirit, being, or whatever, you limit them. Because for something to reside somewhere it has to occupy space, and space has to encompass it. How can anything encompass an all-powerful deity? If something is "there," that means it's not "here," that means it's subject to the laws of space and time and can't be the author of them. Whatever that deity is, it can't be the supreme deity worthy of worship.

As soon as people realize that this universe was never "created" but has always existed and is eternal, the easier it is to comprehend. Ancient cultures understood this. The middle-eastern barbarian religions are catered to people of low intelligence in order to keep them in check.

One fallacy...most Arabs are highly educated people. Specifically in math and science...and the Quaran is one of the few religious text that delves into science as an actual exisistence in regards to our creation.

Matthew 11:27

"All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."

Actually all the knowledge Arabs had at one point came from Indians, Persians, and Greeks. The quran is no different from the Bible when it comes to childish explanations for the purpose of life and identity of God.

The Bible isn't to be taken literally. It's a book of allegory and parables. Not sure why you have your thong in a bunch. Lol. These type of text aren't for everyone to understand which is why you can't understand it and continue to try and prove some type of point.

The person who thinks these things can't be true is just as much of an idiot as the one who speaks of it as an absolute. The stories in the Bible and other religious text aren't supposed to be a history books.

If you were smart you'd simply say "meh this isn't for me but more power to those who care for this stuff" but instead you run around this site trying to disprove an unknown which can never be proven nor disproven thus making it unknown.
now that was a dodged question to be proud of :salute:

so you dont think the bible is real, meaning its bullshyt. but you're one of those 'i dont believe in it, but im just gonna cape for it. plus im not religious, im spiritual' dudes :beli::camby::mjlol:

For the sake of argument; doing so would be proof of omnipotence. An Omnipotent being would not be bound by rules of logic, you would be able to do all things possible and impossible, logical and illogical.
That's what omnipotence is, the ability to do anything.

So God has a son.

Doesn't that make two omnipotent beings?
Doesn't that undermine the entire concept of being omnipotent? :stopitslime:

If what they say is true, then Him being the son yet the father at the same time is perfectly in line with an omnipotent being's supposed capabilities.
So it wouldn't necessarily be two omnipotent beings, though it could be, again omnipotence defies and makes fun of logic. All things possible and impossible.

They are the Triune God.

Genesis 1:26 KJV
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Who was God talking to?

Jesus was given dominion due to being fully obedient to the will of The Father.

Philippians 2:5-11 KJV
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This passage you quoted proves @bdizzle point if you really examine it. How can you not be equal to God & yet be God? If the Son isn't equal to God then they aren't some triune entity. They're separate beings with the Father being greater or the Almighty. Like a true human father/son relationship. Also Colossians 1:14/15

"14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:"

The Son can't be equal to God if he was created by God himself bro. I've researched this topic many times years ago & was able to come to this conclusion for myself.

The Allegory and Parables in that book are not meant for you thus you will never understand them. Why you continue to worry about it beats me and if anything just shows stupidity.

Why are you worried about the people who follow it if it's BS? Lol your like the dudes who hate gay people yet talk about gay people every 5 seconds.

You assuming I'm caping because I have sense and won't bash something. Once again you are showing your stupidity.

From the looks of it you seem to be upset that nobody cares about your Neanderthal ancestors for how hard you were riding for them.

Anyone who invests time in something they claim to be "bs" is an idiot. Thats like me going on and on about Santa clause. You are just as dumb as the people you are trying to call dumb because your investing the same if not more energy in something you claim to be "BS".
