in terms of stringing into a combo, you gotta take into account the range of the move, whether its a low/high/mid attack or an overhead attack (overheads hit people that are crouching, whether they are blocking or not) - the startup frames just tell you how fast it'll come out. some attacks have quick startup but can't be used to start a combo. to properly test combos in training mode, go to AI Options > Block Mode > and switch it to Auto. if the computer blocks at any point during the combo, it ain't a combo

I'm more comfortable on my xbox 360 Street Fighter x Tekken fightpad, but it requires me to use Kinect as a mic which I don't really wanna do, or buy the new MK pad which I don't wanna do either, so I'm relearning how to play on the X1 pad.


well if you joined the room with @HNIC973 and @PhillyBirds215 you would've found out that I dropped Mileena (for now). tryna focus on leveling up my Sonya and trying out the rest of the cast

this was maybe our 3rd and 4th matches from the other day. my Sonya is a lot better now.

I ain't going online for another week....nikkas already puttin up 11 hit combos

The piercing variation sucks ass because she has a low projectile, so it's hard keeping up with high/low blocking

Using Kung Jin in the story mode makes me want to try him as a main. Liked some of his moves and got his combos down quick

I love subzero but his damage seems to be low in the game, I'm hitting 10 hit combos and it's not doing enough

I'm getting like 15 - 25% a combo.

my issue is that the start up seems to be slow, and I can't hit the juggling...those are probably just probably just online issues.

copped this shyt off Amazon, I haven't read the last couple of pages. But is anybody experiencing the game crashing? I can't even get past choosing the faction. And yes it's updated and everything.
