Yeah, rookie tend to button mash some kinda horrible that they always hollering that their fingers are fukked up after like 10 fights. Funny enough, they the main ones complaining that the Test Your Might button mash thing is too difficult to do. I beat that shyt straight thru first go round. shyt was a synch.

had high hopes for Kitana until I ran thru training mode with her and found out she had no overheads. just one and its hella slow, and can't be used in a combo in a game where everyone has every tool in the shed that you can think of, this basically makes her useless. just block low all the time. NRS dropped the ball there

if you are struggling just stay in practice mode and try out combos including juggles

i didnt leave practice mode the first 2 days i had the game, dont jump online and get beat because you will get frustrated and want to quit

and try to stick with one main for a while

pretty much, just learn all their basic stuff so you get a feel for the character, then you can go and experiment and find that good shyt. Quan Chi was cool, but damn he got some slow ass normals.

I still play like it's the arcade days, that hasn't adapted well to the current methods of play But I will say this, the millisecond delays in the online play can be just maddening.
