Man they're making grapplers look fun as hell with Kotal, the Mad Max brute, and Kano. I haven't been this amped to play a grappler since 3rd strike with Hugo, Alex, and Necro :whew:

Man somebody over on test your might said something, that left me dead cause I didn't notice it at first:

"Okay so the Kombo-based variation has a green light (Kano can "go" to town), the zoning variation has a red light ("stop" the opponent in his tracks), and the grappler variation has a yellow light (since Kano should "wait" and play mind games). Alright, NRS...I see your game, I see your jokes"

It's a lame as hell but the shyt left me a mix of :gladbron: and :dead: at the same time.

They should have made all the styles seemless into one another with a r3/l3 button press.

This is the first MK where the characters actually have deeper gameplay mechanics and they kind of hindered the possibilities a bit by having 3 selectible fighting styles instead of one character that can switch between styles at will. Better combo potential and highlights.

I know purists hated that system in MK: Deception but I think it could have worked in this game.
It could have, but man if there's a character with 3 styles that are scary and he can use them all at once, that could possibly reck anybody and everybody. I wouldn't have minded if they did like Deception. But I like having the 3 versions. Makes you stick with a style for a character like SF Alpha did.
