yes, glad developers are starting to add it into games now. for beginners, make note of the start up frames - the lower the better in most cases (deceptively slow moves are sometimes good too), its basically the speed of the attack - and block advantage - the higher the better, in all cases, which can give you a chance to attack again first if its a positive number (safe), block if 0 or at around -7 for example (pretty safe since not all characters have a move faster than 7 frames, especially if the move they blocked pushed them back a bit), or if its negative by a lot just get ready to eat somethin in return.

meter burned throws put you and your opponent at neutral frames based on the move list info, with the intention of making your opponent guess what you're gonna do next. probably more useful if you have meter and your opponent doesn't, that way they can't use a move with armor to get out of the mixup

oh my fukking gosh! this game beings me life! the story, I'm enjoying so far...i wonder who Jax fukked tho . characters look and for once, the hair phyiscs, OMFG the hair physics is on fukking point! because forreal forreal, the hair in mk9 looked stiff like a fake weave. But I'm on chapter 2 for right now, might be up all night playing this game.

EDIT: On chapter 5....and ohhh boy, poor johnny and Sonya...I was rooting for them....I WAS ALL ROOTING FOR THEM!
