Yeah, I know but they brought back Liu Kang (twice) so they can at least show some love for Kung Lao. Especially since he was the winner of MK3.

These were 2 of my favorite Sub Zero designs besides the classic look. I hope they bring them back in the future.

I also hope Cyber Sub Zero is used as one of his styles in this game. Frost was cool too, no pun.

Shoutout to Scorpion's alternate attire in Deadly Alliance too, I always though it was cool looking but they never brought it back.

Imma need to get mk9 for ps3...I was put off by anything post trilogy and rode with trekken for a long time. Actually I wasn't feeling mk3 and umk3. Mk2 & trilogy were the favs....and mk4 didn't feel right.

No idea story line now in days but boon said boss will be a past fav in one of those videos. If Goro and Shang Tsung is still around....I assume one of them. And 99.9% I'll lean towards Shang Tsung if he ain't dead.

Back in 93 I was 7 and by 5th grade trekken was king IMO.

Back button being block is a MUST.

an "instant fatality" feature also would be fresh as fukk...if you can pull off the button combo during a match. It would be a slick ass swift kill animation. A brutal incapacitation like chopping off a leg real quick then stomping their head until it's Prince Obyern...

They had something like create a fatality in Armageddon, it sucked ass, but I know you're probably talking about a full featured one

Mortal Kombat X to Include Largest Roster Yet

Being one of the most popular fighting games of all time, fans always contemplate what new characters and old will be included in the next Mortal Kombat. Ed Boon, Creative Director, of Mortal Kombat X has lent some new information during an interview with Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s on his latest podcast episode. Details including what fans can expect in the game.

In the interview, Boon explains their new approach when selecting what characters will make it in the game. He went on to say that fans of Mortal Kombat can expect more new characters in the roster then any Mortal Kombat before it.

Boon was of course silent on the details of what exactly to expect, and he hopes to share more information throughout the months.

Man this just shows you that anyone can get into videogame journalism. Nowhere in that blurb does it say this MK will have the largest roster yet.
