It wasnt really a full story though, just Shang Tsung and Quan Chi having a common enemy so they killed him.

They threw the world into limbo with MK9. It may happen but quick and not a whole game.

The real Deadly Alliance would be trapped in Ermac's body if they did it the right way.
He could be the Mokujin of MK.

i get that concept, i personally dont like those characters. Ermac has a unique moveset, no need to get rid of it. I hate they did it to Kilik and gave him a wack replacement

Kung Lao was putting them Shaolin paws on him and after he won, he was styling on Shao Khan and turned his back to him. Shao Khan got up and snuck him and left him

Yeah....a lot of the endings are not canon. You really don't find out until the next MK game. But the new story mode overides a lot, if not most, of the endings.

Yeah, I know but they brought back Liu Kang (twice) so they can at least show some love for Kung Lao. Especially since he was the winner of MK3.

Kung Lao didn't win MK3 (in the old timeline) since MK3/Trilogy was an invasion of Earth and not a tournament. He did fight Shao Kahn but lost. Liu Kang beat Kahn after thinking that Kung Lao died. Lao came back in MK4 after healing from his injuries.

Im pretty sure nightwolf is going to literally be a nightwolf... or at least be able to go between that and human form ...
Pretty sure kano gonna have some ridiculous upgrade when he fights and probably shoot missiles lol.
And shyt like that... it was fun to watch those endings though.
