Man go to Japan and have a ball.

Worse mistake you can ever make in life is limiting your experiences based on the opinion of another muthafukka.

This too. Also be educated where you go to. That's the problem with folks in this country. We think we can take America with us, in reality we got to be open to another country's ways. Hell, my focus has been Panama and I been watching this dude on Youtube living his best life, but at the same time learn the elements of the country.

Japan in a nutshell is one of those places where I wouldn't mind visiting, but if you know the deeper side of the game, then you will prosper.

Ala, live, have fun, but don't get lost in heaven...

I visited Japan multiple times for work and never had a issue with racism. When the locals saw me they just wanted to test their English on me.

Ironically the only time I experienced it all was when my Korean co-worker almost got in a fight with a local in Tokyo while taking a smoke. The Japanese guy only picked a fight with him because he was Korean. I had to drag him away. The other time was when we tried to experience some authentic Japanese cuisine in the not tourist parts of Tokyo and we were not allowed in the restaurants and I know it wasn't because of me. It was because of my Korean and Vietnamese co-workers:mjlol:
In regards to living over there, my friends and co-workers who actually lived in country had US jobs so they were straight. They lived like Kings. All of them had nice apartments, some penthouses and others had nice houses in the country.

I had no issues moving around Tokyo, Nagasaki, Kyoto, Sasabo, Fukuoka, Osaka, etc. All the major signs were in English.

Japan has the best food in the world and I'm not talking just Japanese food. I had the best Italian, Indian and Chinese food in Japan.

Its true that you rarely see any trash on the streets and I've never seen a cop walk the beat or a cop cars flying through traffic.

Its true that the men and women under 30 don't interact with each other normally. Its pretty surreal when you walk around and never see young couples out. Its usually packs of boys or packs of girls. Although Japan does have a problem with harassment on the subway so much they have women only subway cars painted pink.

A positive post that no one dapped. Everyone else would rather be angry and miserable.

You’ve been living in America and speaking English your entire life, do whites consider you apart of their club or society?

oh shyt

Yeah but they hoes dont be fukkin. And thier brought up on valuing individualism. All for self. That aint a society i wants to be apart of.

and Japanese ppl are cool. Great culture. But not to be around forever.

That's literally the opposite of Japanese culture.

It may have cone off as i meant it historically. I meant it moreso modern and postmodern japan.

its inevitable. technology and self reliance go hand in hand. Plus other aspects of traditional Japanese culture that helps in move the needle in that direction.

So you're saying that Japanese culture is trending towards individualism, and you perceive this as a bad thing? But America is a much worse offender in that regard.

Op I was with you until I read your post
Japan has racism the singer utada has a black boyfriend and details the experiences he has while in Japan
Clout culture how do you know? This is something you only know if you’ve been there
There is crime it’s just not displayed for the world to see. Yakuza, a lot of perverts, suicides you name it
Japan is slowly losing its population because something culturally is off
With all that said though I still want to visit
The singer from Kingdom Hearts is dating a breh? No way. Never would have thought that. She can sing good.

Where’s the link for that at?

I hopped onto that carriage by accident and it wasn’t until about 10 mins I realised what I had done. They never paid me no mind though.

Again it’s great to get experiences from people who have lived there.

My best moment was when I was in Hiroshima and got on this stupidly tiny train. And I was so shook as I didn’t know if I was going to the right place.

Then so old Japanese man said something to me and got up:francis:…thought he was calling me some random shyt but he got closer and he said “sit sit” I was like :mjcry:… he was like “you’ve come from far and must be tired. Sit down” we have a good convo for the train ride and he told me he also used to live and work in Canary Wharf in London (Finance) and the whole convo and situation stuck with me.

If you go to places with a predetermined negative mindset, then you’ll let it affect you negatively. Japan is just another country on this earth, but with very different cultures.

There is racism, but don’t think it’s primarily black people. Japanese are very homogeneous and even my Mrs who is haifu and fluent is considered not proper Japanese.

People can post articles all say and haven’t ever owned a passport let alone been to another continent and they should be ignored completely. Tbh if language was no issue I’d live in Japan before I’d live in the US without doubt.

Personally i do think that trend is bad. And yes america is terrible because of it, in part.
