Melo as NXT champ shouldn't have lost the night before a title defense.
Melo has the look, persona, mic skills, ringwork, and company support for this to not hurt him.

Idk how you can just sit there and be cool watching somebody you invested in for years. Build him up to be one of the top stars of that brand. Become the main CHAMPION. Just to watch him lose cleanly in his DEBUT match…

You keep saying it’s “not that serious.” But that’s the same shyt nikkas were saying about Kross when he was the champion.

It makes the brand look weak. And even as a casual viewer. Why should I even invest in him if he goes on the main show just to lose?
