Vince most likely isn't telling him to wrestle like that. Brock chooses to wrestle like that because no one is going to tell him that he can't. He's getting paid millions for less work.

Well if that's true then Vince needs to fukking sort his shyt out. If I was Vince I'd fire/punish Brock for going against orders, I'd tell him to stop his current shyt and if he ignored me I'd suspend him/fire him, simple as. He's not above anybody. Vince seems like a right p*ssy about this whole ordeal.

But look at Brock/Orton, the match was scheduled for around 10 minutes (judging by when it finished) as opposed to 20+ like it should have been; Vince decided on the shyt ending not Brock. And it might be dirtsheets being dirtsheets, but I remember reading one that said "The match was supposed to be a long, back and forth match where both gets lots of offense in, but Vince changed it last minute for Brock to dominate him and squash him." So I'd say the boring squash matches are Vince's idea :manny:

Also, we all know he's only been built up like a monster to be fed to Reigns :yeshrug:

Kevin Owens and AJ styles are the champions though. Cena and Reigns are just two pieces of the puzzle. Most of the people all in the video are smark favorites. Ratings hitting new lows with Seth, KO, AJ, Ambrose, D-Bry, the women's division all being highlighted. But I'll let you cook.
Reigns is pushed harder than Owens though...they barely gave Rusev offense in their last few run one.

When D Bry was wrestling, ratings was still in the 3s. He wasn't even on the last show and his situation with Liz once again got bigger than anything Owens, Cena, Reigns, Blandy, Seth were doing. Lol.

Owens is the champion of a 3 hour show that had 5 Foley segments last week. Smarten up.

So it's cool to love Reigns and hate Brock around here now. :wow:

Reigns is like Cena, with the right guy he can have a great match, with the wrong guy, it's a complete borefest. I don't look forward to Roman's matches like I do Brock's. Brock still carries an aura and an element of interest and excitement that no one else in WWE comes close to matching, IMO.

The last great Lesnar match was against Reigns so :yeshrug:

Meanwhile Reigns has 2 near classics with AJ Styles
The last Reigns/Styles match was utterly stupid and ridiculous with Reigns no doing like 91 Undertaker and 98 Goldberg. 5 finishers and he kicked out? 10 chairshots? Wtf....ultra dumb.

Reigns' matches are the only good thing he has going for him right now. Lesnar's matches have mostly been complete ass outsider of his matches with Undertaker.
I don't think fans see Reigns matches anywhere near what online fans claim them to be. He just hits spots and kicks out of alot of stuff. The one arm powerbomb is impressive but he no sells way too much to be calling any of those matches great or good. His comeback in the Lesnar match was outright preposterous.

at least against brock there's room for a comeback.

he's not even allowed to have a comeback against anyone else because there's no point in the match where it would even make sense. there's no coming back from the counter-fest and 50/50 trade offs all match long.

but in his match against brock he's actually allowed to show courage and preserverence.

Roman consistently has some of the best PPV matches of the entire roster. Generally he's only undone when shytty booking takes over his matches, like when he had that throwaway match against Dean for the WWE Championship that was just filler for the Sheamus cash-in, or the awful WM 32 main event against Trips.

For the entirety of 2014 Reigns was booked just as strong as he was made to look in the match against Lesnar and folks were fine with it, it only became a problem leading up to that match when folks caught onto the push and still clinged to Bryan.

that's cause with brock there's an actual story.

He got murdered and kicked out of everything and Supermans back..even showed to be strong enough to stop Leaner from outpowering him and even though Lesnar clearly had him beaten with that final F5, his comeback was ultra silly. We see that a lot and it's labeled as great wrestling around here. The Angle/Michaels match at Mania..holy shyt:laugh:...spot wrestling galore and that last sequence was like the anti Booker/Cripple H situation but just as dumb considering how long the tap out took.

Cesaro vs Reigns from last year was the only thing close to a great Reigns match I've seen since the Bryan carry job at Fast Lane.

That ending get was kind of dumb. Reigns in Superman mode. But it was still a very entertaining exciting match

The fact that he more than held his own with the best in the world twice says something. Even more so after Ambrose bytch ass hardly had a decent match with AJ

Real talk when was the last time Roman Reigns had a bad match :trollmanreigns:

You can't even name one :vincepoint:

His match at WM32 :scust:

Hunter had a good match with Ziggler and a decent match with Ambrose but the Reigns match sucked :francis:

Nobody was really "fine" with it. When it became obvious he was protected to look better than superior talent? Fans turned on him big time. Simple as that. Fans voted for him as superstar of the year in 2014? Get the fukk out of here with that $hit. I guess Taker was superstar of the year over Austin in 98. The political push was obvious..when Bryan came back in Dec 2014 to that overwhelming ovation, it exposed Reigns as just being a placeholder and not as over as he seemed. It happened with Luger @Rumble 94...happened with face Kurt Angle in 2001 when Rock came back for Summerslam 01(he was very over but lost some of that pop when Rock was back every week)..it happens.

It says AJ Styles isn't getting enough credit. Some cat on here was bashing Cesaro last week but Reigns is a great worker? Wtf... $hit is all backwards. The reason why AJ seems to be the best is because he's in better slots than Cesaro..i don't rate him head and shoulders above Cesaro at all. Cesaro is the definition of a work horse. His matches has sympathy, selling, storytelling, and he can get something out of anybody..even a crowd killing bore like Sheamus.

People were fine with him breaking Kane's record of most eliminations in the '14 Rumble, when he came back at TLC after his injury he got one of the biggest pops of the night. He was over as fukk during most of '14, until, as I said, folks caught on that he was Vince's new golden boy, which was around the same time Bryan came back, and those two things combined killed Roman in the eyes of the fans.

That's a valid opinion breh. I'm not really a big Cesaro fan, but he does deserve better. AJ is in an entirely different league imo. And if anyone actually EARNED the spot he's got its AJ

People were not fine with the Rumble thing...the fans turned on the match big time and only stayed with Reigns because Batista represented the company. Much like when they got behind Rusev over Reigns at the end of Rumble 2015.

Over as fukk? He was over enough but he wasn't more over than Ambrose and clearly was a placeholder while Bryan was injured.
