I know they closed the one in Atlanta I was working at two years ago. There is a lot reasons why that company is failing and it has nothing to do with Covid.

As a small business owner, I can tell you that a lot of businesses were hyped the past few days because rumor around business owners was that Gavin Newsom was supposed to allow indoor activities state wide today. Rather this was spread on false info, or based on trends of previous announcements, or someone over heard something, I dont know. I just know many of us were expecting an announcement today to grant all counties the option to allow indoor again (retail, gyms, restaurants, movies).
i wonder if the lack of announcement today effected this decision.
California remains the only state in America without indoor gymsSan Mateo and Marin county today moved tiers today to allow indoor but im not sure if they had permission and just said fukk it
