Sounds dope. I love being able to order stuff online but it's sad the experience of real stores is fading awayThink of like a huge warehouse, Living Spaces or Ikea size, of technology that you can buy from racing cars, to tvs, to consoles or even board games and mostly PC partstheir section of Monitors, Monitors! Was bigger than the entire tech section of Best Buy
frys electronics was clutch when you needed a electronic product immediately tho
damn, guess we down to best buy and they always closed earlier than Frys elec
That "restructure" is really hurting folks that just want that old school customer approach. They really trying to push the whole online and curbside type of business, but in reality Best Buy was always good for the interaction.
It was probably one of the best jobs I ever had before Covid messed it all up. Now it's just like a few reps in stores getting fukked by swamps of people with legit to dumb ass questions.

That was because of the pandemic and folks going apeshyt over Chromebooks and etc. Trust, once the hyped of working from home died down along with the hours getting pushed back, it's looking a bit grim despite the good profits for now. It's really fukked up because I know for a fact that some of the departments were gutted due to the "restructure", meaning folks that worked in Cameras have to figure out how to sell car parts

Haven't been there in years. Damn shame that they didn't give employees a heads up, no severance pay, etc.
These were massive buildings, you could find shyt from thermal glue to zip ties to tool kits there. I know the closest frys here since its contra costa county havnt been able to allow customers inside for awhile. shyt used to be parking lot full of customers, I had to buy an extra led pc fan when I bought my new pc in april and of course, even in the bay area, only Frys had it
drove there and was only 2 customers doing curb side pick up Built my first pc, over 20 years ago, from parts from Frys
You going to be on hold for a week because they got rid of the phone operators. Last time I worked there, the phone area was damn near gone. I had customers talking about how they called and waiting for a while for somebody to pick up. I'm afraid to see what else they cut since I left
Surprisingly, the one near me still does good business.
Damn the ones in the bay used to be the shyt. I took my girl there a few months back and it was mostly empty shelves.
