I went to the Fremont one a few months ago, they had one cashier working. The building is massive, bigger than some Costco’s.
I’m going to miss it.

First heard of Fry's as a grocery store when I was stationed in AZ. Then moved to GA and was shocked to see that it was an Electronic Store with the same name and was owned by the same people. Like others stated shyt was huge I use to walk around in there for hours.

Yeah it's low-key depressing seeing Amazon crush all the box stores we grew up going to. Even if you weren't buying shyt, Fry's was a dope place to get lost in for a hour or two. Employees always seemed knowledgeable too.

Amazon needs to be broken up like the old Bell company.

Me too I remember onetime they had 500 gb maxtor hard drives for about $ 70 bucks, cheap as hell around the early 2000,



then they statred to adding sales tax some years after that

nah Best Buy still does good business they’re good for now

shyt, I go to 1 of 3 best buys near me regularly and every time I go there are more employees than customers. And I know physical media is dying but 2 of the best buys near me literally have the movie section reduced to 2 shelves and all the video games in customer now.
