Fry's Electronics shutting down all stores at midnight

First heard of Fry's as a grocery store when I was stationed in AZ. Then moved to GA and was shocked to see that it was an Electronic Store with the same name and was owned by the same people. Like others stated shyt was huge I use to walk around in there for hours.

Me too :francis: I remember onetime they had 500 gb maxtor hard drives for about $ 70 bucks, cheap as hell around the early 2000,



then they statred to adding sales tax some years after that

nah Best Buy still does good business they’re good for now

shyt, I go to 1 of 3 best buys near me regularly and every time I go there are more employees than customers. And I know physical media is dying but 2 of the best buys near me literally have the movie section reduced to 2 shelves and all the video games in customer now.

when i go to best buy recently i see people lined up outside or in their cars picking up orders. People aren't going inside the stores like that
