Dont be too sure.

Frank Shannon, our best LB, got investigated for a title IX inquiry in May and he's been suspended for this entire season, and he wasn't even charged
I don't see FSU doing what OU did. But strange shyt has happened tho. I still will stand by my statement.

What were the details surrounding his case?
I think a girl said he raped him, he says he never even had sex with her and she's lying because he turned her down. Didn't get charged criminally but for some reason Oklahoma suspended him for the year through Title IX

yep....there's still a small chance Frank plays this season, but it's doubtful

my point is they don't play when it comes to Title IX

It's funny though. There was just a thread in The Locker room about a girl at COlumbia that's trying to sue the school for letting her "alleged" rapist off. He was accused of raping 2-3 other girls as well. And he's still at the school

I would stay in school simply because this bytch is trying to cash in when he get drafted. Some have said the statute of limitations is 3 yrs. The sex took place in 2012. I can see him staying in school and playing next season, she would be assed out.

anybody know this for sure, i dont think it matters how long ago it was

In civil suits, it does matter how long ago. I was wrong in the amount of time. It's 4yrs instead of 3yrs.

So she will still be able to sue even if comes back next year and he enter the draft in 2016. At least he'll be able to afford a high powered attorney.

I have no clue to why OU suspended him, maybe it was some outside pressure.

My Op why FSU won't suspend him.
I don't see FSU suspending him, especially when he was found of no wrong doing. They didn't suspend him last yr, they won't do it after the school's investigation.
FSU just paid $60k + for his $10 million insurance policy.

If he gets injured, he would be assed out.
If the draft started today, he'd be top 5, might as well take that cash. Not too mention he hasn't charged for a crime in 2 years.

I got the yrs wrong. It's 4 instead of 3.

He wouldn't be totally assed out if he got injured tho.

“The real story here is that after her Colorado attorneys created a media frenzy alleging that Florida State University failed to comply with its Title IX obligations, Ms. (name redacted) had to come clean and admit that she previously refused to cooperate with the university’s Title IX inquiry.

“Now that she has finally done her Title IX interview, this is the fourth time Ms. (name redacted) has told her story. We anticipate the same conclusion that followed her previous three statements to the Tallahassee Police Department, Florida State Attorney’s Office and in the FSU Code of Student Conduct hearing. Jameis Winston did not sexually assault Ms. (name redacted).
