You travel to a different city like every week or other week. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds though. You won’t have any time to do any exploring or nothing like that.

Still here. Consulting just consists of big ups and downs. As soon as I got into another project it was so chill I'm surprised I get paid. But the pendulum can swing back at any moment and thats scary. No consistency between projects at all. 9 monthes in and I havent learned a valuable skill other than gaming some confidence in board rooms

I’m a consultant with the title of “Sales Engineer” but the fortunate thing for me is that all my travel is no more than 200 miles from my home office. So I have all the same stresses and pressures as yall except I can sleep in my bed er’night.

OP I’ve been thinking about making a career switch, specifically trying out consulting as a way into starting up something on my own. I’ve got some strong degrees / credentials I’m told make me desireable. Any advice for a breh?

I case study, 1 behavioral and like 1 about previous experiences. Honestly just google. Practice generic interview questions. Make sure you could answer those "tell me about a time when..." questions with all you experiences.

Oh cool, i heard they stress the case studies pretty hard - like 3 of them.

Isn't behavioral the same thing as previous experiences? Both are trying to see if you'll fit in with the company culture
