Black folk don't have to be the main recipients of any policy for us to get behind them. In a country that won't even pass legislation to give white children free healthcare you're crazy if you think they're going to specifically give ADOS reparations.

Telling black folk it's better to lose benefits already in place that make life easier in hopes for a check that's never coming is disingenuous at best and evil at worse.

No one with a conscious should be telling black folk to sit back and make their lives harder in hope for a check that's never coming. Any candidate that ever runs on reparations will lose the white vote and you know it. Losing benefits in the name of chasing that reparations check at the end of the rainbow isn't a logical strategy.

Using that same logic of the "white folks ain't gon ever", would mean that I and my family would still be on the plantation; we'd still have white mobs run us out of towns, and we still wouldn't have the right to vote.

We're not even gon touch the facts that reparations was a consistent topic on the 2020 Dem presidential debates, or that white support for Reparations has doubled recently.
