Since Ryan Coogler has been involved with T'Challa, the comic book world has responded to this killing of a once proud, Warrior King.

The comic book world has now followed suit.

1st is the beat down from Captain America

Next, they now will make A WHITE MAN KING of the Golden City, who has never loss a Battle, A War.

They show this BLACK AFRICAN KING being brutally beaten and ascend the Throne and dawn the Tribal Chieftain Habit and Mantle of BLACK PANTHER

This is why I am critical of Ryan Coogler, he has destroyed T'Challa to the point that the COMIC BOOKS are now destroying him!

These things aren't either/or. It's both/and. You can attend to truth and fiction, but trust, there's a reason white people are so defensive about fiction and the control over who creates and markets it and how.

Yep. Imagery matters. That's why white men don't want depiction of BLACK men in power at any level besides being obedient under white supremacy.

That is the real reason for not recasting him.

The franchise the fukk out of them, and make dozens of alternate reality versions.
No different than spiderman being originally peter parker 616. Then adding spiderwoman, spiderman 2099, miles morales, spiderqwen, etc etc

Tchalla will always be the main primary one.

I respect what Priest did but I have to call this for what it is ; Priest writing shock value to go viral.

I agree I think this plot is entirely shock value.
Priest is politically conservative and wrote a one series dipicting what he thought of Coates did to black panther.
It was red lion for DC.

I have no doubt that Priest is picking at the hyper liberal sensibilities of race politics with this.
That said he is actually a great writer, so I'm sure its for a purpose and a good storyline, unlike what you see today from the so called good writers of comics.
Priest has earned patience to see where he takes the story.

I disagree there is hyper branding a successful product, which is all western comics do now. As they have allowed hack writers and feminist to kill a male catered dominant market.

They also try to kill characters to make the brand seperate from a character because they have poor writers and terrible management that has no understanding of the market.

They want to remove tchalla, similar to how DC repeatedly tries to remove Bruce Wayne from Batman. It always fails.

The only brand they could pull that off with was Green Lanthern, and they eventually had to bring Hal back properly.

And the white BP is clearly being presented as evil and part of a storyline that will end up with BP overcoming him.

I'm looking at this Pic and I'm thinking the black son of Killmonger will defeat the white son of T'Challa. I also don't like this trend to make Killmonger a better hero for black people, that also came from Coogler's characterization

So when movie t’challa comes back the comics will bring him back too

This usually leads to the character having a larger rogues gallery more allies, and more angles to take stories with them.

I would say Coogler and Coates have done more to dismantle the actual concept of black self suffiency than any white writers since DW Griffin.
Its amazing to me the passes they get in what they writer and argue in their stories.
What Coates did was just as black misanderrist and almost identical to in message as the shyt Griffin argued in birth of a nation.

I don't think miles will stick, miles is artificial to me, same with the Sam jackson nick fury, these are pandering flash in the pans.
Miles morales can't sell comics and neever sold as much as the Ben, the spider man clone, that to this day they never brought back and never gave an adequate send off to.

Also I dont think the constant reboots had anything to do with the storylines and refreshes, as it was an attempt to generate sales by having new #1 editions of comics to feed into , at the time the hyperinflated comic book valuation market.
