Coli being down made me realize how much of a forum nikka I am...I can't do social media except Reddit sometimes but I'd rather get all my news and laughs from here

this is a good point. less is more. When you hover over the "dap" button, you get bombarded with emoticons, most of which are smileys anyway. It's redundant, since u can just type out the smileys.

I think if they added like 5-7 new smileys, it would be fine, but there are TONS of them, so users just overload their posts with new smileys, and of course the size issue is a thing like you said
