Clearly this isn't any proof as in this current situation with Drake and Miller, rappers normally keep this type of information out of public view. for whatever reason (and maybe drake has burnt some bridges) people tipped off DJ Flex to this information and flex ran with it.

But being as though I keep up on certain news stories I know that for a fact all the hottest rappers in the late 90's early 2000's and on up to today has had 1 or multiple claims of them having ghost's
they did the shyt to Fat Joe, did the shyt to Lil Wayne, did the shyt to Jay-Z, did the shyt to Nas.

I'm convinced that all major rappers who are breaking charts and numbers have a team of creative collaborators. call em ghosts or whatever, but your favorite rapper has a team behind them.

Ok but was there even any audio proof of those claims... Thats what seperates this drake scenario

Audio proof? not that I am aware of.

but there has been settlements if I'm not mistaken, I think fat joe settled out of court on the claims made against him. but just because there isn't any audio proof, that makes the claims less true?

Based on the convo do u still see him dropping the references :lupe:

I know he wants to but hes smarter then that, if he dont find a gray area its just not worth it, he would get crushed $$ wise and shyt. Thats why I am curious to see what happens tonight, I am assuming its a Meek track, meeks way to emotional not to drop a track ASAP lmfao

@IVS he never said he was dropping reference tracks tonight at 7 though, so why "he better..."

Just for the record in case people forgot:

REFERENCE TRACK = EVIDENCE = PROOF = SMOKING GUN = FACT

SO AND SO HAD GHOSTWRITERS = SPECUATION = HE SAY SHE SAY = NOT EVIDNECE = NOT FACT

Back to the thread.

Damn why did flex have to open his mouth about having the other tracks. He should've just dropped them. Now they may never see the light of day. He should just leak them anonymously and let the Internet have a field day. We don't need the radio and a bunch of sound effects to get the truth.

the one's you listen to as well,
yall too worried about what the image of a musician is.
the most important thing to art is how it touches and affects the listner.

all rappers have at one point in time, or continually, uses a team of creative consultants to help ensure their creation is on point. this meek millz "exposure" rant doesn't change my opinion or view on either Drake or Meek. I'm not worried about who wrote what, I'm worried about the lyrics and the beat.

:yeshrug:

Na breh the rappers I listen to don't use reference tracks. You like pop music, that's cool no hate from me but don't lump all rappers in with that bullshyt.
