I ain't trippin off it. He had 3 years to turn into it and it didn't happen. Injuries, jump shot, crappy environment to develop players (that to me is by far worse than some of these players not being good enough to pan out. This organization would turn Michael Jordan into Sasha Pavlovic if you let them)
Truth be told, the expectations are lower in Denver for him. Even if Corey was in Minny doing what he's doing now, he'd still be viewed as a disappointment because he didn't turn into Tayshaun Prince 2.0
I've actually met Corey in real life. Good dude. One of the only T'wolves disappointments that I still somewhat root for (and I only say somewhat because he's in Denver now so by default I hope he fails at everything he does)

See after witnessing him and gallo in NY I considered them interchangeable. It was odd how one would have a good game and the other would go quiet, and vice versa. In a way losing gallo doesn't have a negative effect on the team since wil just fits right in. The only concern I always had with either of them is consistency. Dudes have a breakout game and have 6 points the next.
