If the ball went out of bounds without being touched, it would've been a touchback and Seahawk's ball.

So if refs would've call the illegal batting, Detroit would have a fresh set of downs and possibly win or tie the game.

Thanks for repeating what everyone else has said here and knows. Great insight, post of the year :wow:

Shouldn't the play have been reviewed since it was a turnover? Aren't all turnovers reviewed like scoring plays?

pretty sure refs can't call a penalty due to a review. there's so much shyt wrong with the review system it's ridiculous.

"oh there was a penalty...but t we will just let it slide since we missed it even tho we're reviewing it" :yeshrug:

Rules are rules. You dont officiate the game based on what is smart or stupid and it's not about what anyone deserves. Can't have refs officiating games that (1) Don't know the rules and/or (2) Are unwilling to make the proper call on the field. Clown was literally sitting right there
Agreed but it happens all the time though. Think in the NBA how many times a player gets fouled on the last shot but it's not called. Or pass interference on basically every Hail Mary pass but it's never called.

At first I thought it was a good no call, but looking back it at now (especially after seeing that replay of the ref reaching for the flag and punking out last sec), they should've been penalized. KW hesitated for a bit and smacked it out because he probably wasn't sure that he would be able to recover it, instead of just letting it bounce out (which I don't think it would've bounced out anyway based on how it was bouncing). He made a mistake, and he should've been penalized for it. The correct play would've been for him to try to recover it, but he bytched out and smacked it out. :manny:

It's still fukk the seachicks either way

What do you want to happen breh? :yeshrug: Wright broke the rule, the refs should have called it.

I know my logic is flawed and biased. But I don't give a damn. After Kam made that great play I think the Seahawks deserved to win anyway.

Losing that game because KJ makes a mistake on an obscure rule would have been just as heartbreaking honestly. fukk it, we won, we're 2-2, we survived.

Have fun hashing out this debate that will amount to nothing in the end. I'm bout to pass out happy as hell. :umad:
based swaggy Pete and the Hawks won :blessed:
