Wright didnt even have to do it, and the fact it was in front of the ref with no call was bizarre. the rule does matter you just dont see it, if theres 2-3 guys battling for a crucial fumble in the end zone you dont want the defensive player just swatting it out of there. thats not how fumble recoveries work thats why its there

If this happens to any other receiver we're talking more about how he should've held onto the ball, but since Megatron always gets a pass we're talking about a bullshyt rule. Quiet as it's kept Megatron tends to fumble at the worst times.

Can you imagine what fumbles would like if that rule was not there.

The only problem with the rule is that sometimes its hard to judge intent.

Forgive me for my terrible memory but i was listening to max and marcellus and a caller said the rule was put in place because i forget who the players were . But same shyt there was a fumble batted and the defense advance it for a td .

I think it was the raiders but I'm not sure.
Did they mentioned ken stabler?
anyways in that raiders play. Ken stabler threw the ball underhand but it was ruled a fumble, the ball ended being recovered by the raider for a game winning td. I think thats what cause the NFL to review fumbles. Not too sure though. It would nice to know
