Yeah the Lions suck, but if the ref makes the right call, Lions and Seahawks have the same record. So why do the Seahawks deserve it more than the Lions do? Refs are paid to know and enforce the rules of the game. Stop acting like if this call went against the Bengals you wouldn't be bytching about it.

I've seen this rule be missed plenty of times. A few years ago Troy Polamalu blatantly hit the ball from like the 20. Like everything else, this rule gets missed. And it is mainly meant so that the offense doesn't advance the ball like that on a fumble anyways

Basically, cry fukking more about it. The bottom line is the Lions didn't deserve to fukking win. Even if they got the ball back, who knows if they would have won,b ecause they were so fukking inept at moving the ball the entire game except for that drive.

The rule in question is you cant bat the ball in any direction in the endzone

If an offensive & defensive player were both chasing that ball down, it would be wack if the defender could just bat the ball outta bounds and have it called a touchback
