I've seen this rule be missed plenty of times. A few years ago Troy Polamalu blatantly hit the ball from like the 20. Like everything else, this rule gets missed. And it is mainly meant so that the offense doesn't advance the ball like that on a fumble anyways
Basically, cry fukking more about it. The bottom line is the Lions didn't deserve to fukking win. Even if they got the ball back, who knows if they would have won,b ecause they were so fukking inept at moving the ball the entire game except for that drive.
