Damn ... I really sat here listening to this entire thing while playing 2k. Bet nikkas knew the words to this whole song by the end of the night.

What was crazy is that it was instant praise too. They played that shyt at Dyckman during one of the bigger games of the summer later that night and people almost stopped doing what they were doing to hear that song. Nobody was shooting around. Nobody was on line for food. When that song hit, Hov and Ye might as well have been performing at half court.
Word up! That song made EVERYBODY stop what they were doing and had us glued to the radio (or for some, online). Made me feel like a kid again lol

I remember when he premiered Nas Hate Me Now. Up until the Otis premier, Hate Me Now had the record for most bombs dropped on a record.

lil kim "the jump off" mightve been crazier...he was talkin about it for like a week in advance "new york, what ima play for yall later this week...is history in the making, you would never expect these ppl to get together"...nikkas were callin in predicting jay z/nas collaborations :russ: and then when he finally played it, it was like 45 min. of bombs before he played it...and that shyt turned out garbage as hell

This is lame shyt.

Same old old ass ashy Flex talkin that dumb ass hype shyt about a track that two rappers with combined age of 80 dropped, talkin about watches and money.

Of course Flex wont show this type of love to anyone else but Rockin Chair Hov, but I guess until I reach those dinosaur years of those two old grumps I'll never understand that gray-hair-camaraderie.

It's amazing how easily you nikkas get gassed.

Dumb fukk baloon ass nikkas.

It's funny I was sitting in Queens and I litterally pulled over when he dropped it. I was getting mad as hell too cause I was like "Drop the damn song already". Till this day I love "Otis" something about it. It had that "Blueprint/College Dropout" feel to it. I knew it was going to win a Grammy the minute I heard Otis Redding's voice. Amazing song. Video was fire too. But Flex was a damn fool that day dropping bombs and shyt. lol.

I remember this moment too. I was listening to hot 97 via itunes, and that nikka was buggin. rewinding the verses like 100 times each. he's gotta be the best hypeman in radio history, cuz I didn't even like that song, but flex was just gonna MAKE me like it anyway.

Flex premieres are the shyt. One of my favorite ever was his of THE DIPLOMAT'S - SALUTE last summer....shyt took like 30 minutes and he ran back "Vampire life true blood, SPOOKY!" like 100 times

that, and his debut of nore's I cant nothin for ya last summer were crack. He was killing it then

Last summer?
