Nobody calles Dre the best rapper to pen the ink in the game. EVER. Everyone knew he had a ghost writer and he never fronted like he didn't. :camby: way different
Who the hell calles Drake the best rapper in the game tho? :wtf: Even this "ghost written" shyt is nothing spectacular lyrically. Drake is and will always be a gimmick rapper.

Rhyemfest came up with the concept & brought Ye the sample. Wrote the first verse with 'Ye. 'Ye wrote the whole second verse. Kanye made the beat and gto Miri Bin Ari on strings.

This joint is on some Will Smith, here's the beat and lyrics tip.
Are you serious? Or are you just being selective with your criticism? The entire first verse, idea and sample came from Rhymefest. He changed Rhymefest to Kanye west. Good thing it rhymed or Kanye may have been SOL.

There was no beat to be made. The original song is basically unchanged from the sample, the same with most Kanye samples.

Real talk this will have little to no impact on Drakes career for two reasons. His fanbase is made up of people who already kinda knew and females who don't fukkin care. It doesn't take away from the fact that he has produced a pretty solid discography for himself and he has sold millions and will probably :eat: for the next decade at least. Lots of rappers have co-writers to help them clean up their rhymes up or creative teams that do 90% of the work and everything in between. Honestly this will hurt Meek Mill the worst, he can be easily blackballed in the industry, he basically shark bit Peedi Crakk's style and does not have a leg to stand on with out rappers like Nicki, Drake and Rick Ross carrying his mediocre rapping through hot beats.

I came up during the early days of MCing and while they still have merits, Funk Flex needs to realize it ain't '96 anymore and people just don't focus on those principles like they used to.

So Drake took a noname persons track and made it a hit. Wouldn't be the first or last time an artist has done that. Lets look at the majority of the tracks Drake has released though. He is lyrically better than majority of the rappers out. Hook game on point. AND he sings. Those are facts. What more does he need to prove. Trolls will eat off this story. Drake will drop another classic and win another grammy.

The lyric using doesnt get to me as much since I never looked at drake as a top notch lyricist

BUT I did respect his flow (rapping wise) and his melodies (harmonizing wise)

But you telling me not even the FLOW was his :wtf:

And all the best melodic songs from Take Care were from the Weeknd and not even his :wtf:

And all the current melodies arent even his but from PND and a fat hairdresser who look like James Earls Jones when he was in Meteor Man :wtf:

You know how his fans used to say "Never the flow though"? :troll: They can't even hide behind that anymore as the only thing to shelter him from all his fukkboy cornball buffoonery over the years...

That 10 Bands reference just proved he does karaoke with flows created by Southern Black dudes...

If you seriously Stan Drake after yesterday then you can no longer be viewed as a serious person.. And I've been one to defend him over a lot of what I had considered unwarranted hate from old heads...

Man, this 100%.

I never saw Drake as a GOD MC, but I did respect his songwriting and hook making ability. To me... that was undeniable. I chalked it up as dude having the gift to just create great choruses. But now after hearing that reference track, where the best part of the song was the hook (which is the case with most of Drake's work), I feel some kind of way.

Buying flows, hooks and bridges brehs? Nah man, that's what separates an artist. Plenty of dudes can spit, but the ones who eat are the ones that can craft verses and weave them within a nice flow and have a good hook.

:scust: @ Drake if more of these reference tracks start popping up.

We were already suspect when thr nikka was reading off his phone doing freestyles
at this point who hasn't done that on Flex, no matter how much they tried to hide with camera angles it was still obvious [Fab and Wiz]
