40 could stay out of the fray and not respond at all. He responded out of a need to restore some sanity to the last 24 hours of this manipulative & twisted debate.

Artists of all talent levels get "help" and have writers. To what level that "help" is depends on the artist but words, slang, cadence, etc can come from anybody and be listed as "ghostwriting".

If were gonna keep it a buck, Flex & Meek could do this to 95% of the industry...it's not an exposal if it's already a well known industry tactic. But I know, I know, you're interested in seeing Drake be destroyed so il let you cook

95% :stopitslime:

The rush to crucify Drake for having ghostwriters is amusing. For example, compare his situation to Nas's. I know this makes folks uncomfortable but stic and Jay Elec likely wrote for Nas on ******. I wonder if the same nikkas that was defending Nas are ready to put on that cape for Drake? :patrice: Now, I believe Nas was already a certified legend and hip-hop icon prior to that album and I don't question him as a lyricist given his history and body of work. So, I get the double-standard. But I don't get how we press rapper A for doing the same thing rapper B does all while defending rapper B. What makes us cast our judgment on some but not others? :ld:

Sohh you gonna compare pure evidence of Drake receiving reference track to your imaginary belief that Jay Elec wrote for nas:mindblown: :mjlol:

level of fukkery in this thread through the roof :scust:

So we gotta really analyze this..

A rapper receives a "reference track" from another rapper. He then uses the track and lyrics, only replacing the vocals.

Essentially exactly what Dr dre/Puffy does.

Do we now put drake in that category?

I think the lil kim/Foxy brown category. At least those dudes produce.

Breh you've already expressed your excitement in Drake's downfall today and on other occasions. So don't come at this like you're being impartial...just admit it, you're in it for the fukkery and you're happy that Drake's integrity is being called into question

I won't deny that, but my logic is still sound.

Being biased hasn't caused me to alter the facts right in front of my face, can you say the same for yourself?

The wildest shyt is that WE ALL COULD TELL. But people would call you a hater, old out of touch etc etc if you didn't agree Drake was the best rapper on the planet. Drake has some great songs but the whole time you listen you gotta be like :patrice::ld::wtb:

People can tell when they are being lied to even if they don't have any proof....

The difference is that Jay Elect and Dead Prez both went on RECORD refuting that they ever wrote for Nas.

Stic straight up said that it never happened.

Then NO I.D. And Salaam Remi posted PROOF of Nas writing his own lyrics.

There was never any proof whatsoever that Nas used Ghostwritten lyrics other than Dream Hampton's wild ass claims. And then she backtracked and contradicted herself several times when called out for any type of proof.

Nas himself has address it and basically called the allegations silly
