Things like this show you how the media tries to be slick and how they try to manipulate viewers mental associations to suit their own agenda. This was a straight up political move aimed at smearing the mayor via his link to Tyson and you can tell he thought he'd be smooth, throw that in there and slide but he forgot that an old tiger is a still tiger and flinched when Mike came for him.

Its interesting if you stop and think about it because it shows you how these fronting puppets are semi scripted behind the scenes on where to lead/what to say so in many ways their guests are unwittingly walking into ambushes and not honest interactions.

Mike was locked in on dude after he made that comment about being a convicted rapist. Interviewer was on Mike's plate and didn't even know it after he made that comment. It's certain triggers that set off a dude like Mike and the reporter pulled it thinking he was in control , in the safety of the studio and being on live TV and could say anything to Mike. Mike flipped it and let him know he wasn't in control and the only thing between them was space and if he would have said another negative thing there would be the opportunity. Mike would have risked it all to fukk dude up, I'm glad the reporter stopped the interview
