Of course, it's reasonable to assume that he's talking about feelings he's had, situations he's been in, parties, after parties and on. He gets stoned like a rastafarian, but that he's big pharmas biggest consumer always felt like an exaggeration.

So we're not mad at Slim Jesus anymore for fakin the funk rite?:troll:

But forreal i think it has to do more with his custody situation. Thats the first thought that came to my head. What the hell else would he say:what:

And lastly, this is the type of shyt that we (us blacks on a mass level) must start ridiculing and shunning. Ultimately, most of these rappers are puppets of white supremacy:

"Im An Addict and I Cant Even Hide It"--- Highly Influential Rapper/Puppet Of White Supremacy

As a people, we need a huge shift in consciousness in order to combat white supremacy. Instead of the overwhelming majority of messages being about violence, extreme materialism, drug/gang glorification, and living an overall destructive and criminal lifestyle, we need a shift towards intellect and education.

Rappers who promote and glorify poison to the black community must be looked upon as traitors to the race as far as im concerned. Yes, its THAT serious. Its NOT "just entertainment". Its a form of media propaganda being used against us:

There is a specific reason why when u turn on your radio to the urban stations, most of the music is glorifying destructive behaviour. Our oppressors control hiphop so it wouldnt be in their best interest for music that uplifts and promotes positivity and maturity to dominate the airwaves.

This is a big one. Black people clowning other black people for what they have and/or who they're wearing. Its as if my value as a human being is based on what brand I'm wearing. We also have to become

okay with being middle class. For a lot of black people there is this all or nothing mentality that has to stop. Not every black person is going to be super rich, dancing on a yacht, drinking expensive

champagne. We have to get comfortable with the idea of being middle class, and living stable lives. Life is not a music video. The rap music of today, as well as the videos that accompany it, is toxic.

And I've said this before, but a lot of black children don't grow up in two parent households where toxic messages can be dispelled, and explained away as nothing more than entertainment. This potentially

leaves them vulnerable.

:snoop: good for him but bad for everyone out there getting high because they think its cool.

Farahkhan has a great point about rappers having such a large following and not sending the right message. I remember hearing this on Cormega's song Industry

Cormega? :why:

the same Cormega who was infamous for saying....

You wanna impress me show me a key Or I suggest we manifest this a drug deal test Put your coke in the water solidify the rest yeah

or what about:

"the smoothest killa since Bugsy
byatches love me...in queens where my DRUGS be
I wear guess jeans and rugbys.."

:mjpls:

I hate when cats been savage the bulk of thier life ...then all of a sudden wanna get SELF RIGHTEOUS :francis:

Cormega don't get me wrong is a great ARTIST....but he is in NO POSITION TO PREACH...

only reason cats like Cormega speaks against this type of entertainment (coke RAP..trap rap) cause he wasn't able to fully capitalize off of it like a JAY Z or NAS
:yeshrug:

what FUTURE IS doing is no different than what his predecessors and peers are providing which is entertinment. ...

yeah u got some fools who blur the line...

like CORMEGA did who made an effort to have you believe he was one of the realest..

but it's clear FUTURE is an artist whose "gimmick" is the Rock and Roll Sex Drugs angle...you hear it in his music and his fashion...

and if a child gets influenced to become a Druggie based on hearing Future...

I'm sorry but his PARENTS and SOCIETY failed him

don't blame the artist :upsetfavre:

Lil Wayne was strung out on lean and didn't have the belly.

IMO this custody talk. I'm sure he's not an addict like that but he's saying this to see more of baby Future.
