IF we talking drill rap. I disagree he was good but i think g count and la capone got him. But i dont knock a nikka for thinking otherwise. Pappy was goodAs far as drill Pappy was the best.
I don’t listen to Herbo, but heard a couple of songs and didn’t need to hear more.
But I like this song that he’s on
And skip to the next song once Von’s verse ends!![]()
As far as effortless flow, actual rap skill and ability. I have to ride with Pappy. He was just different.IF we talking drill rap. I disagree he was good but i think g count and la capone got him. But i dont knock a nikka for thinking otherwise. Pappy was good

He was in the group LEP with the guy who started drill music drocity pacman . He is a lyrist's lyrist but he was a pioneer in drill music before it devolved to what it is nowi would not consider g count to be a drill rapper
he's from a totally different generation that actually valued lyrical ability.
to that effect, herb has a point esp. in regards to this current generation, but he acts like hes the only one with bars
Juice world or mc juiceHerbo kinda slow I wouldn't take nothing he say serious
This nikka must never heard of Juice![]()

in herb's defense there really weren't many street rappers in chicago who were poppin when he was growing up.
HE SAID HE GOT HIS WHOLE
STYLE FROM NY
AND NAMED DROPPED JADAKISS...
HE CLEARLY WASN'T TALKING
ABOUT HIS PEERS...
HE WAS TALKING ABOUT OGS
THAT HE LISTENED TO AS A YOUNGIN
WHICH MAKES HIS STATEMENT BULLshyt
in herb's defense there really weren't many street rappers in chicago who were poppin when he was growing up.
I mean, the 90s had twista, dod, crucial conflict, snypaz etc.
But 2000s? Not really. Except bump j and LEP. So I can see how he as a young child may have overlooked some things.
That said, saying chicago nikkas couldn't rap is flukey. Esp. With him being from over east. That is full fledged CAP.
The guys from that era were just never fortunate to have the platforms that herb and his cohort had like youtube/social media and blogs. And many met their demise before they could really get their careers rolling.
