Me, I didn't JUST get a big forehead. I was born with it. At the local pool the lifeguards loved me but they would still say things like "Go head 4-head" and that shyt used to piss me off

I only lurk Gaf just for gaming news and that's it. The rest of the threads on the gaming side boil down to either "Anything lower than 60 fps is a slideshow" or a thread dedicated to sucking on Sony's cock, hell I lowkey suspect that Sony funds that site.

I wouldn't ever wanna post on there though, 80 percent of the shyt we say on here would get you permd on Gaf, it's like walking on a minefield.

as strict as the modding is on that site its still a poorly modded place. its not about fairness or keeping things civil its only about keeping people in line with the mods opinions and views. the whole place is a giant hivemind.

i still think its laughable that they'll ban someone for posting impressions of a game before its officially released if they don't post some sort of proof pic showing they legitimately purchased the game from a retail store. what business of theirs how you got a game anyway?

i avoided that sub forum like the plague. basically use to troll the basketball and college football sections. basketball peeps there hate bulls fan and i might of had a hand in thart, and the college football crowd was too buddy buddy and overtly gay for my taste. i called em out and the whole fraternity hated my guts for it. i only signed up in '08 and got booted 2 years after

Recently, there was a topic in the Off Topic section about how a guy sold some Xbox Live code over Ebay but thought the guy he sold it to was scamming him. The guy on the other end did absolutely nothing to scam him but the guy selling the code thought he was because he had another email that looked like an indian name (). Guy on the other end paid him for the code, but the guy selling the code used it and never gave to him all because he THOUGHT he was being scammed when he never was. And he never gave the guy his money back as far as I know.

He posted all of that in Off Topic and everyone was clowning him and pressing him to give the guy a refund. He gave some bullshyt paranoid reason for not doing it outright and he eventually got banned within the day.


Now was that dumb as hell? Yes.

Did he deserve to get clowned/barked at? Yes.

Did he deserve to get banned? I don't think so.

I could see if he did this to another Neogaf user but it was just some guy. Personally, I would've let that thread be his hall of shame and leave it at that
