i respect it but im still sitting here with the :comeon: face.....

yo gotti came through tho:ehh:

its gonna be interesting,a debate will soon form, does this mean game will stop talking about shooting now?:yeshrug:,we shall see

But we know the answer to this

And let's be serious, they opened up a pandora's box. Cause the song is actually smooth. Everybody laid some cool bars. So I'm waiting for the excuse as to why they can't continue to lay tracks like this......

:dwillhuh: do you know the development history of St. Louis County

Yes negro.

:beli:speak up it against mayweather insulting your abortion having girlfriend but watch your words when speaking out on a situation that has constitutional implications brehs

I don't and I assume that's a Nelly thing.

I think that's my point though. One of those is more delicate to handle. A man disrespecting your girl is easier to call out then having your opinion on a situation like this dissected by millions of people. Nobody really wants his opinion, they just want him to say some shyt they might agree with.

Bruh, yes they do. In this very thread, somebody wanted a Nas opinion. That one is kind of understandable but people were calling for a Nelly opinion. When was the last time anybody wanted Nelly's opinion on anything? Even in the early 2000s?

I get how some people feel though with these rappers particularly tackling this with their usual subject matter. But black issues affect black people, that's just how it is

Key word, Nas, a respected lyricist. And I can respect Nelly since hes from the area. If he, Chingy, Jibbs want to do a track fine ( :mjlol: ) but let me rephrase your OP

I'm not sure I get what you mean by the last part. What I was saying is that it can affect black people no matter where they stand. It could not affect you personally in any significant way and that's fine, I guess but ol boy down the block who has done dirt since he was little might be pissed off about things that affect black people.

I salute and respect the message, but nikkas is right, this shyt too LIGHT & happy sounding...Woulda been much better served and impactful/serious over an instrumental like:

The kids on the hook & what they're saying....Can't get into it, it's almost parody-like smh. Salute for the effort again, but the world already don't respect us or take us seriously. Can't even believe Diddy had a cheap plug smh. I'm not looking for perfection, I'm looking for SERIOUSNESS and HEARTFELT effort from everywhere from bars, to lyrics, to the hook. Khaled the LAST motherufukker with his CORN ass voice and fake inflected hood drawl all over the track quoting scriptures fukkin the vibe up off the first click of the play button....:snoop:

Sorry brehs, this just ain't it....But while I'm at it....fukk it.

I just don't see how Khaled was involved with this track's inception, but it sounds way more REAL to me.... :wow:

so do you suggest they not say anything at all? :what:
Bruh dont take these white hip hop fans serious, if they going to listen to black rap artist music and repeat the violent lyrics and go on hiphop message board and get mad when the same artist start talking about a issue they dont relate too let them cook.

You know it doesn't fit their black rapper/black male sterotype/agenda. When em does it its like "crickets" hes a genius
