I get what you saying but it's difficult to care about prequel story and characters when we all know how shytty the story going to end eventually. If the original Star Wars Trilogy was ass cheeks, you think people will care about Darth Vader origin. All logic aside, I hope nothing but the worst for the GoT TV series and D&D. They deserve all the hate and backlash for season 8.

I feel that, but i mean they did give us 6 very good years of television. Plus the lore of game of thrones is one reason why i loved it (then again, i love history) so much like a movie in a franchise i love, not gonna doubt it or hate on it before it even films.
And yes its fukk d and d and hbo...if they couldnt finish the story properly should of had little creative influence over it and just stayed on as producers. But o well, very few shows finish correctly in the eyes of fans

Don't care about the long night
The language probably factored into it just as much. Can’t have a show with everyone speaking with subtitles. So the alternative is to break immersion and have ancient valyrians speaking common.
