It was built on it. Every journalist that grows up to write about video games grew up on those “genesis does” commercials. Every influencer on youtube grew up arguing about RROD and HD-DVD’s

There are no console wars anymore. Both sides are at different stages of multi platform denial. And both sides are focused on two different things now.
Xbox can still make hardware but they're clearly focused on services, and PS is clearly focused on traditional console gaming.
You guys would realize yall have a lot more in common if yall focused on the games instead of trolling each other with out of context business stats.
