Games where you had to just take the L and play on EASY difficulty?

For me it's lightning returns.
The Time limit and the game came together and kicked my ass on normal. The fact that the very structure (not just the enemies) of the game changes if you don't play on easy should have tuned me in to what was going to go down.

never had that happen, i play games on the hardest difficulty available. i had to drop it back to normal on resident evil 5 though.

Had to switch to easy mode on Ninja Gaiden 2.
Game was taunting me every time I died pretty much saying
"Is this shyt to hard Nikka?
Want to go to easy?"

Only to find out that games easy mode is essentially normal mode

Yeah, game was worth it though. Beating it on normal is hard as fukk but was damn satisfying....Then they got 2 higher difficulty levels
