15. Suikoden II: HD Remaster (Playstation Portal) (9.5/10)

16. Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny (Playstation Portal) (7.5/10)

I actually had to play through this twice as the first time I didn't properly stock up health/magic items. Dope game, and I enjoyed the less stressful second playthrough but it is very similar to number 1, just reminding me how they managed to get these games out so quickly back in the day - people didn't expect a whole new game with new systems like they do nowadays.

17. Ys: The Oath in Felghana (Playstation Portal) (8.5/10)

Just a very dope, old school Japanese ARPG - doesn't do anything special graphics or story wise, but has an extremely solid gameplay loop in which the combat feels good, the dungeons are fun to explore, there is a lot of enemy variety and the bosses are challenging and fun. Not bogged down with a bunch of bullshyt RPG mechanics and customisation that is needed.

18. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage (Playstation Portal) (6.5/10)

Wanted to play something different, so I played through both tapes of this narrative Life Is Strange-like from Dontnod. Honestly, it was alright - definitely not a Coli game as it is basically a game following the lives of four outcast teenage girls in one summer in the mid-90s, plus there is a supernatural element which is pretty under-utilised. Graphically it looks great and the writing/characterisations are pretty decent.

19. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound(Playstation Portal) (8.5/10)

Pretty excellent action-platformer from the Blasphemous devs; feels good to play, is pretty but not very challenging and has some memorable boss-fights. Feels good to play a game like this that is just an old school action game rather than a metroidvania. Haven't done the special levels, and probably won't bother at this stage. Big issue with the game is how boring the upgrade system (talismans) are.

you seem like an rpg guy like myself do you recommend metaphor???

great reviews but for some reason am still iffy about it lol

still busy with death stranding, and yakuza 8 though mmmm
Well it's a Persona spinoff since the calendar structure is just like Persona. Just set it in a fantasy setting. Though it is more lenient in being able to do the stuff compared to other Persona games plus there is no romance in it.

I think it's superb, but if you've got a backlog, I think you could wait it out. I'd be shocked after they release the remake of Persona 4 if they don't put out some definitive edition of Metaphor to boost sales before they put out Persona 6 in the far future.

12. Star Wars: Outlaws (+ Wild Card & A Pirate's Fortune DLC) (7/10)

Put a good 60+ hours into this, and by and large enjoyed it. As an action/stealth adventure game, it is pretty mediocre mainly due to the lack of impact of weapons but also because the cookie-cutter level design makes the stealth gameplay pretty repetitive. However, it does a few things really well - it has a great progression system built around finding "experts" and completing their questlines to open up new abilities which is far better than a level up system, it looks great and as a Star Wars fan it has a very engaging world to explore. The story and characters are also alright. Definitely a better game than people give it credit for, but yeah the gameplay aspect is a bit lacking.
This is a good template for an awesome Mandalorian game. You take the same concept, give him more action shooter based gameplay instead of stealth, and have him traveling to different worlds collecting bounties
