Clearly Nintendo is in trouble if they need to have other companies develop their 1st party IP's.
fukk is being a dumb c*nt your new shtick or something?

Tekken team made pokken and smash bros, platinum continued to made bayoneta after Nintendo purchased it and you had capcom making handheld Zelda games back in the day.

So what Nintendo is doing is using outside developers to make games for established IPs and new titles?

Nowhere does it say IPs are going to other platforms

this makes no sense, it would make sense if they put their games on other platforms lol.
It makes as much sense Xbox being in so much trouble that they NEED to release their games on different platforms, that's the whole point of the statement. It's all doom and gloom and FUD...

Stannery at its finest when it just makes the most financial sense when Xbox is going to have 3-4 double A to triple A games for the next 3-4 years back to back.

It's not like Nintendo needs to outsource their IP's, but why not? No one is theory crafting about Nintendo going 3rd party when REALISTICALLY Nintendo going 3rd party would make the most sense out of all the big 3.

This thread was not about Xbox so calling out stannery when doing exactly that in here is funny but if you want to talk about Xbox we can. Xbox is actively failing to sell their consoles and their subscription #s have been stuck at the same number for several years now. Comparing these two makes no sense from any aspect.

It's for the same reason, not to sit on potential growth of an IP and cash.

Come on folks, we know if Xbox was selling more consoles/subs they wouldn’t be exploring publishing first party games on other systems.
