If EA knew this game was shyt at the release, then why didn't they sell the game around $39?If it wasn't a complete game.

If EA knew this game was shyt at the release, then why didn't they sell the game around $39?
I've read elsewhere that they can't offer less than 60 due to their contract with the nba.

i just wonder what it's like to sit in on NBA live dev team meetings post launch...
FIFA 14 was a horrible game at launch, easily the worst FIFA game ever. But after 3 updates the game is damn near 90% improved.
I think EA is dense when they have all these wild ideas which screws up the execution, but they do pay attention to our complaints.

Is this false hope? People hype up NFL 2k5 (which was on the PS2) more than they hype up All Pro Football 2k8 (which was on the PS3)

Shouldn't have been a launch game, period.
Should have ate off FIFA and BF until 2K cooled off and then they could have pulled the wool over a few hundred thousand peoples eyes and could have kept it moving.
Nobody is going to invest all that time into 2 basketball games and your franchise has been getting shytted on for a decade now, so you lose out on those who only have the bread for one or the other.
Not to mention, you have the nerve to come to the table with this?

Look, I'm hijacking another thread. But for good reason. There is a bigger revelation to the story that seems to be going over the heads of everyone.
EA apologized for NBA Live 14 being underwhelming. But what they said they'll do about it should be an eye opener to every gamer out there

They are indirectly saying that there is no need to even have a NBA Live 15 because they can just upgrade Live 14'
Its right there, they will improve all that over the coming weeks. Graphics, animations, significantly.

Now of course if you ask them about this, they'll then provide a company reply to cover there tracks
But the Kat is out of the bag. Games can be improved from there end now in all ways.
Killer Instinct is set to have 4 seasons worth of content. New characters, new levels, new moves, new everything. Courtdog even predicted thats how EA would update there sports games in the future.
When we go totally digital, it makes little sense for companies like EA to keep up the charade.
They may try it for the first year or two, unless we wise up as a people.
We need to set up a video gamers union n shyt
