Gamestop is about to close almost half their stores

I thought they was supposed to turn into a retro/collectible store
What if I want to buy a GameCube or Dreamcast or ps1

Well they probably don’t need a bunch of stores if that’s the route the going to go

GameStop, FuncoLand etc., had more of an aura when I was young.

Parents bought the games so I had to think long and hard about what I wanted.

Now, if I see it...I buy it new from Best Buy or Amazon. GameStop had the used game hustle, but with PS+ and GamePass, it's not really needed. Plus we all remember how they'd take your game and give you $6 for it and then turn around and sell it for $49.99.

I remember one time when I was like 17, Target had this Nascar PS1 game on sale for like $19.99 or something cheap. I bought it, didn't open it, went right across the street to the mall at Gamestop and dude gave me almost full value trade-in.

I wouldn't go in Gamestop now bc there's no reason to. When GTA 6 drops will be the next time they have big crowd
