Game creation in the west has to change fundamentally, specifically triple A gaming. It's hemorrhaging for all sides.

Time - games take so long to make now that by the time most these triple A games release 6-7 years later what people are playing and how they are playing has or is changing.

Cost - the cost of getting a triple A game out the door and to the people just keeps going up.

Sales - the sells for games continue to go up, but much like the sales of music it's a lot playing with the numbers to inflate sales numbers.

Time x 2 - at one point seeing a movie once or twice a month was impressive. Even watching TV after 10 was kinda a bore. I couldn't post messages from my phone while debating on what series I'ma watch on demand while I eat and get lost in some rabbit hole doom scrolling.

It was either, games, watch TV, friends and family or read and sleep.

Imo it is clear that something has to shake, and I think we have been and are seeing at a lot of that now. Most the huge 3rd party triple A publishers have been sold, bought and moved around like chess pieces.

Can yall stop posting 45minutes worth of YouTube videos with no context other than clickbait titles? Discussion would be better if OP actually provided an original thought of their own to go along with it instead of expecting strangers to binge watch all that shyt and provide more input than the actual thread starter :gucci:

The video game console market in the US just posted it's worst November revenue numbers since November 2005 and spending was down 27% from November 2024. The memory shortage is threatening to raise console hardware prices despite this.

Would like the cult to keep this same energy.

Both @The Mad Titan and I have talked about this topic and provided detailed numbers, graphs and explanations dudes ignored that too.

Maybe he thought yall would only listen to cacs like when @Gizmo_Duck posts them :ehh:

Aye man it's really kinda insane. Like it's either click bait or somehow related to Xbox. Not only that, like you said my thoughts on this should be well known after years of speaking on it... and looking at these comments, it clearly is. :mjlol:

But it's no wonder the maga cult following is so confused, they not trying to watch and get sentiments of gaming they want someone to give them their thoughts on it so they can either hard agree or disagree.

I can see if I posted up a tier list, graphs or top 10 or something.

But I'll entertain him, I got a free time this week:blessed:
