keep pushing your gpu's temp to the throttle point and getting less then. it's a fixable problem (fan curve), but you're just being stubborn about it
Daze, I just played a real game AC:BF and at 82 degrees my clocks are at 1071. Tell me how to make a screenshot with msi overlay on it and I'll prove it to you. Furmark lowers your clocks cuz it's so intensive, it even showed that in your article. They were getting into the 800s.

Why can't you admit you were wrong? Why is that so hard for you?

And you know adjusting my fans isn't gonna do shyt. If I raise the fans it's just gonna blow more hot air on the bottom gpu, effectively making the increase in fan speed worthless. My temps are exactly where they should be for 780ti sli and so are my clocks.

Give it up man. It's becoming sad

you can't adjust the fan curves independently? even if not, I still think it would help. the default fan curve sucks even with a single card setup. I've seen that personally with a gtx 260, 660, and 780

Man just admit your wrong. shyt. :snoop:

I can't even get my shyt up to 83c on anything right now (not even dragon age with 99% usage). 1071 mhz at 82c is unbelievably good for 780ti. Can't you see that? :snoop:

I can't figure out how to adjust fan curves independently. But do I even need to? My shyt is boosting like crazy at 82c. :snoop:

You're one stubborn ass pc Stan. Can't admit shyt. :camby:

You and @2gunsup. :snoop: it's kinda sad :mjcry:

400 posts about temperatures, VRAM, frame rates, pixels, SLI and it is all understandable.

What I can't understand and my mind cannot comprehend is why anyone would want to play Assassin's Creed:mindblown: Going through all that trouble just so you can climb a tower and jump into hay

I'm still wet around the ears in this PC shyt but it gets more understandable day by day just by reading these nikkas go back and forth. :russ:

As for AC...that game is auto bushes status to me. Never cared for that franchise :camby:

Yeah, MSI afterburner is only letting me adjust both fans at the same time :mjcry:

Can't even try it out, but then again, I don't really need to :manny:

I only beat it once, because I always got stuck at the part where you had to kick a certain part of the wall to open a secret passage or some shyt. I remember as a kid kicking that wall for like an hour straight like :beli::sadcam:

break into microcenter and steal everything. free PC :win:

:troll:
I was thinking of just picking up an old C2D PC on Craigslist and putting a gaming graphics card in it :troll:

Seriously though, $500 build coming soon. I just had someone request another and figure it would be a good time to update it. I might even go Intel this time, but I hate the idea of grabbing the unlocked pentium or i3 for a gaming build, but AMD is getting absolutely destroyed right now and might not have any better option.

BUMP

The Potato Masher is a $375 budget PC build from late 2014, designed to compete with the PS4 for the rest of its lifecycle. Here are its specs:
i5 750 overclocked to 3.7 ghz
Asus P7H55 LGA 1156 motherboard
8GB DDR3 memory
MSI GTX 760 2GB
320GB Samsung Spinpoint HDD
Cooler Master Wavemaster Case
Arctic Alpine 11 GT cpu cooler
EVGA 430 watt PSU
Logitech KB+M combo
Windows 10 64-bit

If you go for PC might as well go big.

I remember this thread. It caused a lot of commotion. I'm glad we're past those days
