I've been watching all the interviews and listening closely to premo and what he is saying about the vocals he got from solaar.

Please people, learn the difference....

Thank GOD Drake wasn't on the album. Not really too fond of Cole but he I can stomach him. So glad he brought the Gang starr foundation back. The album is another masterpiece to me.

Just watched the live premier of the new video for Bad Name on youtube. Preemo was in the live chat.

Dope video, he really cut off his locks like that, Wow. He really does look like his Dad. This whole situation with the new album makes me happy for The Son most because these last 9 years had to be hard without his Dad. Throw in the fact all that Legal Drama with Solar I'm sure Guru's Son Keith was happy he could finally rep his Father to the fullest publicly. Bottom line...Guru's Children should own his vocals not Solar. I saw all the interviews and I'm happy Premo fought as hard as he did to make all this happen. Guru's Son was only 9 years old when Guru passed. He even got a Gang Starr tattoo on his arm. Again I'm happy he can finally rep his Dad's legacy the way he always wanted to. That's wild because once he got the fade, he really did look like his Pops. Dope video and song, one of my favs from the LP. I noticed the "So Many Rappers" instrumental too.

Aside from DVD content of old concerts and current studio sessions, who thinks premo has more Gang Starr material up his sleeve for future release?

Preem did say he has material for one more album. I hope it happens but I'd rather have a Gang Starr foundation album with everyone. Jeru, Group home, afu-ra, bumpy, Shugg and M.O.P.

3/4 of the album is pure flames:dj2: kinda trailed off at the end but still easily top 5 for me

I thought that at first but the entire album has grown on me. I remember being happy but mad gang star came out with Hard to Earn and Moment of Truth because the shyts was so dope but it was taking too damn long for it to come out. Too many years separated Daily Operation and Hard to Earn and especially from Hard to earn to Moment of Truth. At least we got the exceptional Full Clip compilation.

I'm saying all of that to say that the end of the album has grown on me to match the first half of the album because the shyt is dope and we are blessed to hear Guru and premiere again.

I'm thrilled to hear he has enough for one more. I hope he keeps the same formula but I swear he should do a Gang Starr remix album. I mean, his shyt is classic and it will always be classic so remixing it won't take away from it.
