Is it really the final album though? I know that Preme got a bunch of acapellas from Solar. He already had 6-8 from unreleased stuff and cats overseas. I would like to see one more, even if its only 6-7 joints. It's wishful thinking, though.

to me personally thats a bit of a double edged sword. The shyt with Solar was weird to the point where i don't want to think or listen to anything associated with the man

Damn good for using old vocals. I think the sampling was toned down a bit as well.
Good for what they had to work with and put it together with older verses and cameos to make it happen. We got another Gangstarr album so all is good.
Listened to this again on the strength of you upping this thread and this is still a really good album. Premier really did his thing on here.

What happened to that supposed follow up? I remember Premo alluding to having more to come. I know there was that single which wasn’t on the album, and then more recently a mini single, but I’m sure he said he had enough vocals for another album.

The people saying Premo fell off either never listened to this album or didn't give it a fair chance.
